This evening I went back to the farm to see how the farmers grow their crops. By 6000 B.C. humans were growing crops such as wheat and barley. I observed how they fertilized the fields with rubble from old bricks. This process helps improve the soil. I also observed and tasted the foods they ate (bread, onions, fruit, fish and lamb). Today was a fun and informational day. Tomorrow I will learn even more about Mesopotamian farming.
