Today, I accidentally wandered into someone's home, thinking it was the place I was going to stay while in Mesopotamia. I saw a young girl lying down on her hands and knees, right in front of a big statue. I was very confused, so I tapped on the girl’s back. Startled, she jumped up knocking over a bowl full of fresh bread. I helped her pick up all the bread and then asked what she was doing, lying on the floor in front of a statue. She replied that she was praying to her god. I must have had a very confused look on my face because she explained that she was polytheistic, and that means that she worships many gods. The statue she was praying to was one of the gods she worships. I am so sorry; I will tell you the rest later; I have to go to my friend's house to talk about what we should wear to the festival.
